You know that square piece of hair Hitler had under his nose?

So was this an actual style of facial hair that people used to wear back in the day (and did it have name?) or was it just a messed up Hitler original? And if it is, was an actual style don't you think that people who still desire to have this square chunk of hair under their nose are pissed off because he pretty much ruined it for them. Ya know what I mean?

It was actually called the "toothbrush mustache". Hitler wasn't the first to wear it, Charlie Chaplin, an English comedian, first popularized it. And yeah, he did ruin it. But there wasn't really much to ruin to begin with.

The only other person to rock that trash stache is the great Charlie Chaplin and the were both born around the same time. I don't think anyone can pull it off today without getting negative feedback from anyone who sees it.

I'm older than most here..and I've seen a number of men from Germany with this small moustache. It may seem a weird style today...but forty years from now people are going to look at hair wax and say "Who would put sh*t like that in their hair?"
