pool water will trash your hair. if you can, wet your hair and comb a little conditioner through your hair prior to getting in the pool. this will help prevent it from absorbing so much of the chlorinated water. also its a good idea to wash your hair w/ a clarifying shampoo after swimming but make sure you use conditioner or it will dry your hair out.

1. chlorine will discolor colored hair, if recently done or done a while back, it will drain the color and give it a tint of green.

2. Suave wont ruin color hair but it will discolor it faster than shampoos and conditoners for color treated hair

3. clearasil has benzoil peroxide in it, it may lighten it up but nothing too darastic

4. normal styling products wont ruin it, just try to go for the better shampoo and conditioner

hmmm...try color thrive by treseme...its cheap and it works better than anything i have ever tried, i am a girl and i dye my hair on a regular baisis, i know the do's and donts please take my advice!
