Another question about body hair.?

Do people residing in colder climates like the Inuit in the Ellsmeres typically have thicker body hair or thicker facial hair than other ethnic group? Why or why not? I am not trying to be racist I happen to have pretty thick body hair and admire people who have it.

Another question about body hair.?

Thicker body hair is an evolutionary adaptation. Its like smaller eyes on asians is their adaptation to the bright sun. Thicker hair is an adaptation to gaurd against cold, in the same manner that fur does.

Another question about body hair.?

there are no such places as those you said there.

Another question about body hair.?

Are you referring to the elfen races of the north? I think they were hairless and naked, but the gnomes from the same region were pretty hairy. You must be a gnome. Is your hat pointy?

Another question about body hair.?

genreraly traits such as body hair are genetic. While people will addapt to their surroundings it may take up to 800 years for that processes to be complete.

Another question about body hair.?

Peoples from colder regions generally have thinner hair that is less "dense" so to speak. The purpose of hair on humans is not for insulation, is for wicking sweat off of the body to keep it cool in warmer regions. For instance, Italians, Arabic, and Indian peoples typically have thicker hair because those regions of the country are generally warmer. However, Swedes, Russians, or Inuits have thinner, less dense, and generally lighter hair.

Another question about body hair.?

Asians have fleshy eyes not because of sunlight, they have more fat around the eyeballs to protect them from the cold. If sunlight was the answer, why then don't Africans, Middle Easterners, Indians, and South Americans have eyes like Asians? Okay, some S.Amer have them, but they are descendents of Asians. The flesh around the eyes is protection from the cold, not from the sun.
