Haircuts for facial shapes?

I have fine hair and I'm pretty sure a square type of facial shape. I live in Southern Mississippi and I really don't think there are any hairstylists that know what they are doing enough to give me advice on what would look best on me. Does anyone have any advice? My hair is straight, blackish brown, a little below shoulder level, with grown out layers. Im kind of scared to cut it short again since last time it was a disaster, but if I can find a cute cut that will not make my head look tiny compared to my body (I'm 5'7, athletic build, 126 lbs), I might try it. I just need to do something different with my hair and I don't want to dye it.

layers or shingles or something along those lines would be great for your head shape but before getting layers or shingles try trimming it to about shoulder length.

you should do a cute bob, right aabove your shoulders. make sure you ask for LOTS of layers, especially framing your face.

A face frame is ideal for a square face. Have them start just below your cheek bone. A side bang would shorten your forehead as well are rounding it, make sure your side bang is not too short! Length will enlongate your face, so cutting your hair to your shoulders would round it out some. Stay away from too much lightening or it will square your face right out again.

Yes it is all those wonderfull hormones. I break out everywhere too. I never had breakouts... Its sucks oww the joys of pregnancy..I use chamomille its sooths and cleanses the skin you can drink it or just bath with it. I also use witch hazel tonic but IDK where you can buy it I import mine...

I do laser-treatment - once and for all. After two or three treatment your hair will be gone almost 70%. The darker your hair is the faster it will be gone. Bit pricy but it lasts forever.

I wax my lip at least once a month. I have been doing it since I was 19. I am pretty freaking hairy....and I hate plucking. You could bleach but if you have dark hair it looks weird.

The only issue with waxing is it hurts and sometimes can irritate your skin for the first 30 minutes after wards.

Okay go to your beauty shop where you get your hair cut and tell your beautician that you want your lip waxed. For me, I've tried both waxing and threading, considering both causes pain, but I choose the latter one, it's conventional but it's free of irratation and it's much cheaper. I don't know if there's anyone over your place are doing threading nowadays, but over my place here are quite common and is safe cause it uses only threads. ( as the name suggest)

It might take a little time get use to, but once you've done a few times, the pain you feel are just mild irratation.

Your best and easiest bet is just to use a face hair removal cream that is made by Sally Hansen and sold in drug stores or you can use the pre made wax strips that you just heat up in your nands, press on and hold lip taut and pull off - both are in the drugstore and by Sally Hansen. For darker more course hair the premade strips are much better and will last longer.

I got my facial done on my face. it was painfull. the doctor only did about a half hour. he dident even get 1 session done. quality was yak yak yak. but they do seem to be really nice. the cheap for rates enywhere. my opion on what they could have done better. is get the full session done. you need about 7 treatments. I dident even get a one full treatment. I told the lady wanted numbing cream %26amp; she dident get it for me intell the secend time. she charged me 50.00 for it. even getting bits %26amp; peaces done. it looked a lot better overall.

Alright, I have non-asian hair.. which is technically: wavy, not fine, at times unruly hair. It's the most annoying thing to control. And I recently decided to cut my hair 'cause I'm getting bored of my look.

I have a long face and my hair is permed (but slowly disappearing), and it's 5 inches below my shoulder. I don't know I should go for the short look or not.. or just get it layered.

I suggest going to an Aveda salon where the stylist can advise you best how to control your hair, and give you a new look. Make sure you choose a stylist that is an Aveda graduate, and either owns the store, or is a partner. Then you'll be assured to get the best answer for your ailment.

I feel like you did about the hair thing. I had long hair and it wasn't working out for me. Walter Claudio told me that I naturally look better with short hair, given my face and all. Hope this helps.

Since you have wave to your hair try getting it cut all one length at your shoulder or just above. It will give you a new look. If you cut it to the shoulder you probably can put it in a pony tail and when you want to go for a fixed look your hair will probably lay so that it curls under easily. If not then you may have to go about an inch below. Because of the fact you have a perm too even though it is fadeing you can probably just wash it and go and it will look great. I usually get my hair about an inch below my shoulder so that I can either curl it under or wear a pony tail. I have very fine hair and also have to get it what they called tapered so I can curl my ends. Tapering is where they basically layer the ends but not the whole hair. Hope that this helps.

I would never recommend bleach of any kind. You don't know how it's going make your skin look or if there's going to be a bad reaction. Threading is the best way. Waxing too, but it's more painful.
